Explain Everything Debuts New Whiteboard App for iPads

Explain Everything has updated the Explain Everything Collaborative Whiteboard, an iOS app designed specifically for use in education.

The new app allows users on different iPads to work on the same project. A content portal, Explain Everything Discover, allows users to publish their projects, discover work created by other users and download, edit and remix other projects.

"Our team worked hard for several months to deliver features requested by our most devoted users," said CEO Bartosz Gonczarek, in a prepared statement. "We decided to ship these features as an entirely new app so as not to disrupt the experience of our 3 million current users. We're very excited to bring cloud-based sharing and real-time collaboration to Explain Everything, making it the least restrictive, most empowering tool for tablet devices! We're excited to see how these new technologies will help people to express their ideas in new, collaborative ways."

"The Interactive Whiteboard for Chrome, Android and Windows operating systems, the Collaborative Whiteboard for iPad and Explain Everything Discover are bundled as part of an annual subscription with heavily discounted pricing options for education users," according to a news release.
