Video Capture

Echo360, Astute Technology Partner on Credentialing Tools

Echo360 has launched a new interface for personalization, engagement and credentialing and partnered with Astute Technology to integrate the latter's virtual meeting and conference platform.

As a result of the partnership, institutions using Echo360 can now offer students or other members on-demand access to videos and take assessments on the content within the platform in a move designed to ease knowledge testing and the award of certificates and credentials.

"With the addition of Echo360's unique, active learning platform, users will also have access to a suite of learning and engagement tools," according to a news release. "Members viewing on-demand conference videos can, for example, engage in peer-to-peer collaboration and ask and answer questions, sparking an exchange of ideas and extending the value of events for members unable to attend."

"We need to keep pace with the latest research and innovation in our fields," said Matthew Lungren, associate professor of radiology at Stanford University, in a prepared statement. "Echo360's platform enables professionals to easily access quality, interactive online programs that are tailored to our interests — and equip us with the tools to succeed."

"The integration of video capture with engagement and learning tools enables us to respond to our clients' growing need for personalized, on-demand educational experiences," said Fred Singer, CEO of Echo360, in a news release. "This new approach is driving unprecedented participation in online programs, and extending the shelf-life of content as professionals search and identify the learning moments most relevant to them."
