Dynabook Ultrathin Laptop Launches with WiFi 6

Dynabook has unveiled Tecra X50, an ultrathin laptop that offers up to 32 GB RAM and WiFI 6 capability. The device has the largest LCD display of Dynabook's X series laptops at 15.6 inches and it is lightest PC in the suite, starting at 3.13 pounds.

The Tecra X50 offers the latest eighth generation Whiskey Lake Intel Core Processors with vPro and Intel Optane SSD and has a reported battery life of 17 hours with advanced cooling. The laptop uses an S-Type fan that that delivers a quieter running system through adding fan technology that increases air flow and cooling by 10 percent compared to the Tecra Z50.

 Other features include:

  • Two Thunderbolt 3 ports
  • 2 USB-C ports
  • 2x Thunderbolt ports
  • IR camera for face authentication
  • Synaptics’ TouchPad SecurePad with fingerprint reader
  • Supports up to 3x 4K external displays
  • A webcam privacy slider

The Tecra X50 is 17.6 mm thin and uses an Onyx Blue magnesium alloy chassis. Pricing will start at $1,544. For more information, visit Dynabook's website.
