OLC Offers Resources for Online Learning in the Face of Coronavirus Shutdowns

To help institutions prepare for emergency situations such as a coronavirus outbreak, the Online Learning Consortium has put together a list of tools and advice for handling a quick shift to online courses. The organization's Continuity Planning and Emergency Preparedness resource center provides links to webinars, videos, professional development courses, articles and information, both from OLC's own library of content as well as from sources such as the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, Johns Hopkins University and others.  

OLC has also created a free pop-up webinar series focused on instructional continuity, in which speakers from a variety of higher ed institutions will share how they are incorporating online learning into their emergency preparedness planning. Upcoming webinars include:
