EAB Acquires College Research and Decision Platform

Education advisory EAB has acquired Cappex, a platform designed to help students discover and research colleges online. Cappex's research and decision tools will be added to EAB's Enrollment Services suite, with the goal of better helping higher ed institutions "find and engage prospective students despite major shifts in the college search process," according to a news announcement.

EAB's Enrollment Services include website design and development, virtual tour technology, a transfer portal platform, financial aid optimization, marketing and recruitment services, and more.

"The integration of EAB and Cappex will enable EAB partners to identify and engage prospective students who do not interact with schools through the traditional channels, such as campus visits or standardized tests," explained Chris Marett, president of EAB Enrollment Services, in a statement. "By expanding schools' inquiry pools, we can help institutions grow and diversify their student populations."
