New CT Leadership Summit: Building a Digital Transformation Strategy

What Digital Transformation Means in Higher Ed
Digital transformation is critical to the future of higher education, but at the same time it can be difficult to define. To gain some insight on the topic, Campus Technology is surveying stakeholders at colleges and universities across the country about the goals and challenges their institutions are grappling with in their Dx journeys. In this session, we will present results from the survey along with analysis from a panel of higher education leaders.

Enabling the Digital-First Campus
In a panel discussion moderated by Brian Fodrey, senior director of Business Innovation at Carnegie Mellon University, this session will explore how technology can help institutions find efficiencies in IT and administrative workflows, leverage AI and automation, and/or reduce paper-based processes so that staff can spend less time on tedious tasks and more time focusing on supporting student's learning and their institution's mission.

Taking Digital Learning Beyond the New Normal
In this session, Western Governors University's Mark Milliron and Kim Round will look at the evolution of online learning and how education innovators are poised to move beyond a "new normal" to a "new possible" in learning models and modalities. They'll unpack strategies we are seeing emerge that are aimed at creating and curating student learning and support experiences that are immersive, flexible and use technology effectively to enhance student success — especially those driven by the emerging field of learning experience design.

Tackling Dx Challenges
Based on the forthcoming results of the Campus Technology 2022 Digital Transformation Survey, this session will offer tips and best practices for navigating one of the top challenges identified by survey respondents. Stay tuned for the topic and speaker announcement!
