Planar Announces EduCare Program to Optimize Display Pricing, Training, and Support

Visualization technology company Planar has introduced an EduCare program for K–12 and higher education customers to address budget-conscious needs for training and technical support, according to a release. The program features exclusive pricing, pre- and post-sales technical support, and training courses through Planar's Academy.

With the sheer variety of display options available for lecture halls, meeting rooms, student centers, rooftop terraces, athletic, and performing arts facilities, Planar wants to ensure schools get display expertise and technical knowledge for their specific needs, the company said.

"This program allows us to deliver one-on-one attention to customers in education, one of our most successful markets, to create incredibly personalized projects and experiences that will inspire other organizations for years to come," said Adam Schmidt, executive vice president at Planar, in a statement.

The program is available with all display tech projects. Registered customers will have access to special pricing; pre-sales individual installation design support; prioritized and dedicated tech support; and Planar Academy instruction. Course topics include "video wall content development, color adjustment, and the basics of virtual production," among others, the company said. Courses are available both in person and online at no charge.
