Sharp Debuts 4 New Interactive Displays in Aquos Board Line

Sharp Imaging and Information and Sharp NEC Display Solutions have released a new series of interactive displays in the Aquos Board line, in four sizes designed for collaboration and communication through a 20-contact-point multi-touch system and adaptable connectivity.

The new 4W-B series comprises 55", 65", 75", and 86" displays. These boards feature simultaneous writing for several users at once, as well as Sharp Pen software settings and function access. The pen interface includes handwriting recognition, whiteboard mode, and overlay mode, according to a release. The screen offers glare resistance and natural writing flow. The boards can be used continuously for up to 16 hours a day.

The 4W-B series also features instant compatibility with an HTML 5 browser app for web-based content. The displays include “public mode” to keep content secure and prevent outsiders from making adjustments.

The 55”, 65”, and 75” are available now, the company said, and the 86” will be available in early summer 2023.

"We are thrilled to be adding four new AQUOS BOARD interactive displays to our lineup, with advanced features like simultaneous writing, which allow groups in business or educational settings to collaborate and work efficiently together," said Gary Bailer, director of product management, Pro AV Products. "Sharp is continuing to look at the changing needs of the workplace and classroom, and tailoring products to fit the ideal modern solution needed for engagement and productivity."
