Transact Campus Partnership Lands Talkiatry Services on Campus Transact Apps

Virtual psychiatric care provider Talkiatry has announced a new partnership with mobile credential and payment provider Transact Campus that will make mental health support more available on college campuses, according to a news release.

The partnership will “provide students with access to quality psychiatric services and offers an accessible and affordable mental health support system,” Talkiatry said.

Transact said it will provide partner institutions with a “full suite of marketing tools” to ensure students know how to access Talkiatry services, which will be incorporated into the Transact eAccounts app and available within the Transact Mobile Credential.

Talkiatry psychiatry services are covered by more than 60 health insurance plans, and the company boasts that new patients can see a mental health provider “within days” of booking their initial appointment. Initial visits are 60 minutes long and follow-ups — with the same psychiatrist every appointment — last 30 minutes, according to the company, whose staff includes over 300 psychiatrists specializing in treating a wide variety of mental health conditions.
