Scantron Launches Class Climate 3.0

Scantron has released an update to Class Climate, its course evaluation system designed for higher ed. The new version sports enhancements to performance, data analysis, and customization options, as well as other changes.

Class Climate allows education institutions to conduct automated surveys of learning programs, including individual classes and departments. It provides feedback to instructors and administrators and allows for anonymity on the part of students filling out evaluations.

The 3.0 release incorporates the following changes:
  • Enhanced customization through a SOAP-based API;
  • Online surveys;
  • PDF evaluation reports;
  • Customizable UI elements, including colors and fonts;
  • Multiple language settings and multiple reminders;
  • Ability to display results to survey participants (with password); and
  • New reporting capabilities, including comments and customized reporting for various levels of access.
