Seton Hill U, Blended Schools Launch Dual Credit Foreign Language Courses

High school students looking to get a jump start on college can take online courses in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian starting this summer, thanks to a new partnership between Seton Hill University and online curriculum provider Blended Schools Network. The dual credit course will be taught by adjunct faculty at Seton Hill through Blended School’s Learning Institute.

"Our world language program empowers students to learn languages not often taught in their high school, while earning college credit that will help reduce the costs of earning their degree,” said Jed Friedrichsen, CEO at Blended Schools Network, in a prepared statement. “Our faculty have developed incredibly engaging courses to ensure student truly learn the language."

Enrollment for the summer classes is open now. Interested students can register at Blended Schools' Web site.

Blended Schools Network was recently acquired by Sibling Group Holdings, Inc, an education services company headquartered in Atlanta. GA. According to Sibling, the acquisition is slated to close this month.
