Brandon U Moves to Decision Academic for Degree Audit and Catalog Services

Brandon University will be using two Web-based services from Decision Academic for academic advising and catalog management. Degree Navigator provides functionality to manage student degree information, accelerating the degree audit and approval process for advisors, administrators, and students. Catalog Navigator allows institutions to provide up-to-the minute catalog information for both students and staff. Both modules are part of the company's Degree Navigator Suite, which provides broad academic student services.

"We believe that Degree and Catalog Navigator will enhance student satisfaction," said Al Dunthorne, director for IT services. "We completed a thorough review of academic advising and curriculum management vendors and chose Decision Academic for its capacity to deliver a Web-accessible, integration capable solution in a timely manner."

Modules from Decision Academic's Degree Navigator Suite are also in use at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario; Rutgers in New Jersey; and the University of California, Davis.
