TechSmith Releases Free Whiteboard App for iPad

TechSmith has released a free digital whiteboard app, ScreenChomp, for the iPad.

ScreenChomp allows users to write and draw with their fingers in 12 colors and record and edit activity through Camtasia for Mac or Camtasia Studio, TechSmith's screencasting software. The videos can then be downloaded as .MP4 (MPEG) files.

ScreenChomp features include:

  • The ability to import and rotate background images;
  • Multiple sharing options; and
  • Free video hosting at ScreenChomp.com.

While ScreenChomp is available for free through the iTunes store, Camtasia Studio costs $299.00 and Camtasia for Mac costs $99.00.
