Higher One, Campus Management Partner To Streamline Campus Payment Processes

Financial services provider Higher One has entered an agreement to integrate its payment processing suite and refund management disbursement service with Campus Managment's academic and administrative platform.

Administrators, faculty, and campus advisors that use Campus Management's CampusVue Student management platform to manage campus operations such as recruiting, admissions, financial aid, and alumni relations will be able to streamline the payment process with the addition of Higher One's CashNet payments suite and OneDisburse Refund Management funds disbursement service.

The CashNet Payment suite includes:

  • eBill, for automated billing;
  • ePayment, which is designed to allow users to pay any type of charges or fees online;
  • MyPaymentPlan, a tool that helps students plan and manage college costs;
  • Cashiering, which provides campus-wide over-the-counter, back office payments, and departmental deposits;
  • eMarket, for campus departments to create web storefronts; and
  • SmartPay provides options for reducing or eliminating credit card fees on transactions.

The OneDisburse Refund Management service for financial aid disbursement allows institutions to cut down on the time and cost involved in issuing paper checks and provides students with a variety of options about how they wish to receive their financial aid.

"Higher One's goal is to lower the cost of education for students by improving administrative efficiencies and reducing fraud and waste," said Miles Lasater, president and co-founder of Higher One, in a prepared statement "We are pleased to partner with Campus Management, as CampusVue Student is an important tool for helping institutions enhance the student experience and this integration with Higher One products will offer students more choice, while bringing time and cost savings to the institution."

Higher One offers an array of technological services on campus, ranging from streamlining the institution's performance analytics and financial aid refund processes to offering students banking services, tuition payment plans, and the basics of financial management.
