Aerohive AP1130

Aerohive's AP1130 access point

Aerohive is rolling out a new 802.11ac access point designed to handle harsh outdoor environments. The AP1130 can withstand temperatures from -40 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit and 95 percent humidity. Equipped with both Power over Ethernet and DC input options, it can be deployed using a variety of power sources, including batteries or solar/wind power.

The lightweight AP1130 features certified omni-directional and high-power directional antennas; LEDs that monitor client and backhaul connections; audible and visual tuning mechanisms for positioning directional antennas over long-range, point-to-point mesh connections; and automated or dedicated mesh backup. Two radios provide concurrent 802.11a/n/ac and 802.11b/g/n connections.
