ZeeVee Expands ZyPerMX Line, Debuts IP Decoder

ZeeVee encoder and decoder

ZeeVee is debuting new IP video decoding and encoding hardware at the InfoComm 2016 conference taking place this week in Las Vegas. The systems are designed for distributing video over IP using common, off-the-shelf 10 gigabit switches.

The company’s  new ZyPer4k CATx “expands upon the ZyPer4K platform, the only solution today that switches and distributes uncompressed Ultra-HD (4K) video, audio and RS232/IR control signals, and KVM by leveraging off-the-shelf 10Gb Ethernet switching products, with support for CATx infrastructures,” according to the company. It’s designed to provide all of the functionality of the ZyPer4K for organizations that aren’t running on fiber yet.

The company is also unveiling the ZvMXE, an IP decoder designed to work with the ZyPerMx IP encoder. “The ZvMXE integrates seamlessly with the ZyPerMX and allows for the distribution of video over standard IP network infrastructures,” according to ZeeeVee.

ZeeVee is exhibiting in booth N725.
