IT Salary & Job Satisfaction Survey Closes This Week

Higher education IT professionals still have a chance to participate in Campus Technology's 2016 IT Salary and Job Satisfaction Survey. The survey, now in its second year, is open to all IT staff and leaders. Participants will have access to the results and can enter for a chance to win a $250 Amazon gift card.

Results from last year's survey, published in Campus Technology magazine, found that the average salary for an IT professional in higher education was $74,021, with the median at $66,000. The survey also gauges IT staffers attitudes toward their current jobs and the profession in general. Most participants last year predicted either healthy growth (40 percent) or continued stability (37 percent) in higher ed IT, and most were either very satisfied (21 percent) or satisfied (53 percent) with their jobs.
