Tecom Intros New PTZ Camera

Tecom PTZ camera

AV company Tecom Electronics has produced a new pan-tilt-zoom camera. The TE-PT950 PTZ camera offers a wide viewing angle (340-degree motion) and multiple video interfaces and ports, including HDMI, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

The camera provides X20 optical zoom and, according to the company, operates in "harsh lighting conditions." Support for H.264/H.265 encoding helps to make motion video fluent and clear, even when bandwidth is "less than ideal."

The camera connects to the computer via a USB cable and supports videoconferencing software, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Skype. Camera input can also be streamed directly from the camera to the internet, including audio.

The company also offers an optional room bundle, with the camera, a mount, a USB 3.0 extension cable, a USB 3.0 four-port hub, a desk microphone and a USB mixer.
