Senate Committee Approves $34M for Kentucky Projects

If this U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee's bill is approved by the whole Senate and the House of Representatives, Kentucky schools could receive $25 million for special projects. According to news releases from Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who is the Senate majority whip, $25 million of the funding is set aside for Kentucky universities as part of the appropriations for the U.S. Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and related agencies. The University of Louisville's High Bandwidth Network Connection project would certainly benefit from its proposed share of $1.5 million… (Business First of Louisville)

IBM Initiates iSeries Tafe Course
