Mounting solutions vendor Chief Manufacturing has launched the RPA Elite series of universal and custom projector mounts. New features include: MicroZone adjustments, which allow fast and precise independent micro-adjustment of roll, pitch, and yaw with the use of a No. 2 screwdriver; macro adjustments with Centris technology, which uses the center of gravity to adjust a projector in easy, fluid movements with just the touch of a finger; and the Q-Lock integrated security system, a lockable lever that allows quick detachment of the projector from the mount for regular maintenance—without losing registration. Codian's MCU 4500
Powerful HD Videoconferencing

Codian, a manufacturer of videoconferencing infrastructure products, has announced the MCU 4500 series, a high-definition videoconferencing infrastructure platform with full-motion continuous presence conferencing (at 720p @ 30 fps), enabling users to view remote meeting participants in fine detail, with natural movement. The MCU 4500 is based on Codian’s Universal Port technology, making it compatible with standard-definition (SD) and HD endpoints, regardless of codec or connection speed. The system is 720p @ 60 fps ready, in anticipation of the next-generation endpoints. Price: $6,500 per port (all Codian MCUs are available in 12-, 20-, 30-, and 40-port models).

Improved Document Management

Enterprise content management software provider Perceptive Software has announced ImageNow 6.0 Sunflower, the latest version of the company’s flagship document management, imaging, and workflow software suite. Feature enhancements include: version control and library services; digital signatures using advanced public key infrastructure (PKI) technology; ImageNow Projects, enabling related documents to be grouped as one object while retaining the unique properties of each document; ImageNow Worksheets, streamlining auxiliary data collection; and ImageNow Workflow Designer, for creation, management, and modification of document-centric workflow processes. Pricing starts at $20,000.
