Columbia Southern U Launches Social Networking for Alumni

Columbia Southern University has launched a new online service for its alumni. Dubbed "CSU Click," the service provides social networking functionality for the school's graduates at no charge.

According to Jamie Gauthier, president of the CSU Alumni Association, the initiative was an attempt to create an active network of CSU alumni. "“Now the CSU Click has sparked worldwide attention from our alumni and we are beginning to see the strongest, most enthusiastic alumni association I’ve ever seen from any online university," Gauthier said.

CSU Click allows alumni to blog and share photos, network about careers and business opportunities, and start groups "to find other alumni with similar interests."

Registration for the service is free.
