Northcentral University Adds Campus Security Specialization

Northcentral University, which offers higher education degrees earned online, announced the introduction of a new master's and doctoral business degree specialization, Business, Corporate and Campus Security. The university focuses on the education needs of law enforcement and security professionals.

The school, which has a campus in Prescott Valley, AZ, already offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in business with a specialization in Homeland Security. That program is designed to educate managers of law enforcement, public safety and emergency medical care and disaster preparedness agencies. Courses cover budgetary rules, personnel management and issues relating to crisis management and terrorism.

The new specialization includes courses such as "Computer Security, Forensics and Cyberterrorism," "E-Commerce Security," "White Collar Crime" and "Terrorism and Countermeasures/Executive Protection."
