Ed Map Inks Deal with CourseSmart To Deliver College Textbooks Online

Ed Map has announced an agreement with CourseSmart that will allow the company to deliver an expanded list of electronic textbook titles to higher-education students around the country.

The partnership will add CourseSmart's more than 4,000 textbook titles to Ed Map's current list of available digital resources. Students will access the materials through CourseSmart's Web-based platform, a delivery system that also provides faculty the ability to review and evaluate the textbooks online.

A collaboration between Pearson, Cengage Learning, McGraw-Hill Education, John Wiley & Sons Inc., and the Bedford, Freeman, Worth Publishing Group, CourseSmart is a new venture intended to give higher ed students and faculty greater access to digital course materials. According to ED MAP, the partnership will provide greater flexibility when developing course material solutions for their education clients.
