Texas Higher Ed Board Wraps Development of Reporting System

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has wrapped development of CB Reports, a new reporting system created by Ciber, an IT outsourcing company. The system performs reporting on requirements for Texas colleges and universities running Oracle's PeopleSoft applications.

Campuses subscribing to the reporting service are expected to benefit from reduced management and maintenance of state reporting requirements by replacing their individual reporting systems with a centralized system. Ciber is under contract to maintain the CB Reports to meet the state's changing standards as well as provide updates for future PeopleSoft product releases.

The Coordinating Board works with state entities, governing boards, and higher education institutions to help those organizations meet the goals of the state's higher education plan through the use of accountability systems.
