JackBe and Intelligent Chaos Deliver ERP Mashups for Higher Ed

JackBe and EMS-Intelligent Chaos have teamed up to develop decision support dashboards for colleges and universities that integrate siloed data to improve funding and resource management decisions. JackBe sells enterprise mashup software. A mashup involves combining data from multiple sources to uncover new kinds of information. EMS-IC performs Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations in higher education and other kinds of organizations.

The partnership will offer "Higher Ed Mashup Packs" to generate contextual information from existing ERP investments. The Mashup Packs will bring together experts fluent in Oracle eBusiness Suite and PeopleSoft applications with agile technology that leverages JackBe's Presto Enterprise Mashup Platform. For example, one module is a dashboard that aggregates data from the expense and time-tracking modules of PeopleSoft and delivers the information through personalized mashup widgets. The duo will also offer social mashups to enhance collaboration.

"By partnering with JackBe, we can offer our higher education customers an agile solution that leverages their Oracle applications to provide university administrators with the tools they need to effectively manage cash flow and budgets."
