Canon Launches High-Light-Output Education Projector

Canon has introduced a new high-light-output projector for education settings, the LV-7275 Multimedia Projector, which also offers wired network connectivity.

The new LV-7275 Multimedia Projector offers native XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, a contrast ratio of 500:1, and a brightness of 2,600 lumens. It's designed to project images up to 300 inches (diagonal) and supports throw distances from 2.62 feet to 37 feet.

Other features include:

  • ±30 degree auto and manual vertical keystone correction;
  • 1.2x manual zoom;
  • Component, DVI-I, and RGB/composite inputs;
  • Analog RGB out;
  • Built-in 7-watt speaker; and
  • LAN connectivity via RJ-45.

The Canon LV-7275 Multimedia Projector is expected to be released in August. It will sell for $999. Further information can be found here.
