Jenzabar Bolsters ERP System with Address Features from Experian

Higher education enterprise resource planning (ERP) vendor Jenzabar will be adding address verification technology from Experian QAS to improve Jenzabar EX data used for campus activities related to student recruitment, retention, development, and marketing.

Jenzabar EX, which runs on Microsoft SQL Server, allows institutional staff to access, update, store, and report on crucial data through a common database. The integration project uses QAS Pro, a front-end address verification product, and QAS Batch, a back-end address verification tool, to validate, clean, and standardize address data. This in turn will enable college marketers to minimize bad address return mail.

According to Experian QAS, the new integration decreases data-entry time by giving users prompts and pick lists for address data entry. QAS Batch for Jenzabar EX standardizes addresses to United States Postal Service standards, which reduces postage.

Jenzabar is also developing integration between the two companies' products for Jenzabar CX, which runs on Unix. That's expected to be ready in three to six months.
