Kramer Launches VP-8K 8-Output HD Video Distribution Amplifier

Kramer Electronics has introduced the VP-8K, a 1 x 8 computer graphics video distribution amplifier. The VP-8K (replacing the VP-8) adds Kramer's Kr-isp advanced sync processing technology.

The VP-8K is an HDTV-compatible distribution amplifier for computer graphics signals with resolutions exceeding UXGA. It accepts one computer graphics input on a 15-pin HD connector and outputs the signal via eight 15-pin HD connectors to eight destinations or displays. The VP-8K features a high video bandwidth of 370 MHz, internal ID Bit control, a termination switch, and Kramer's Kr-isp advanced sync processing technology.

Kramer's Kr-isp advanced sync processing technology is designed to provide a sharp, stable image, as well as compatibility with a wide range of computers even if the sync level is too low by restoring the sync signal waveform. Kr-isp sync processing can be enabled or disabled.

The VP-8K is housed in a desktop-sized enclosure and it operates with an external 5V DC power supply. The VP-8K is available now.
