Elmo Releases Document Camera/LCD Projector Bundle

Elmo USA has launched the Classroom Doc-Tor, a bundled presentation system that includes a document camera and an LCD projector. The system is designed as a complete plug-and-play solution for interactive presentations in school settings.

The Classroom Doc-Tor system includes a choice between two of Elmo's LCD projectors: the CRP-22 (2,200 lumens) or the CRP-26 (2,600 lumens). Both models feature a 16x digital zoom and XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution; LAN network capability; multilingual menus; closed captioning; and auto functions such as input search, vertical keystone correction, and PC adjustment.

Accompanying the projector in the Classroom Doc-Tor bundle is the TT-02RX document camera, which includes the Sony 1.5 megapixel CMOS chip that captures and displays full-motion video at 30 frames per second. The TT-02RX document camera has 5.2x optical zoom and 8x digital zoom with auto focus, allowing for detailed images up to 41.6x magnification. The document camera also has a microscope viewing mode, LED lamp, and SD memory card capability.

With the Classroom Doc-Tor bundle, users receive the latest version of Elmo's Image Mate Software, which, combined with the USB interface, allows users to connect via Mac OS X or Windows systems to capture, monitor, edit, and store still images and live audio/video. A suite of annotation tools is also included to enable teachers to create presentations and add effects.
