Panasonic Teams with Haivision on Digital Signage Bundles
Panasonic and Haivision have combined efforts to create four bundled digital signage solutions that have the ability to drive multiple displays through a variety of networks, including DSL, satellite, LAN, and 3G.
The new solutions, the TH42LF20CSMNT, the TH47LF20CSMNT, the TH42LF20CS, and the TH47LF20CS, consist of Haivision's CoolSign software, a Panasonic F20 series LCD display, and a pre-configured media player PC.
The TH47LF20CSMNT and the TH47LF20CS ship with a Panasonic TH-47LF20U 47-inch monitor, while the TH42LF20CSMNT and the TH42LF20CS come equipped with a Panasonic TH-42LF20U 42-inch monitor.
Both monitors offer brightnesses of 700 cd/m² and resolutions of 1,920 x 1,080. The 42-inch model offers a contrast ratio of 1,200:1, while the 47-inch model has a contrast ratio of 1,000: 1. Features common to both monitors include 4x digital zoom, automatic picture position, a brightness sensor, input lock, button lock, 1:1 pixel mode, and the ability to display images both horizontally and vertically.
All four bundled solutions ship with a computer that offers a 2.26 GHz Intel Core2 Duo processor, a 250 GB hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 9300 graphics card, 2 GB of RAM, and a windows 7 32-bit operating system.
A licensed copy of the CoolSign Player software adds wide media format support, frame synchronization, dynamic data support, and networking capabilities to the bundles.
The TH47LF20CSMNT and the TH42LF20CSMNT ship with a wall mount that supports portrait and landscape orientations.
The TH47LF20CSMNT, the TH42LF20CSMNT, the TH47LF20CS, and the TH42LF20CS ship for $3,500, $3,165, $3,315, and $2,980, respectively.
