Sanyo's new PLC-HF15000L offers a brightness of 15,000 lumens via four 350 watt, hot-swappable lamps.

Sanyo has unveiled a large venue quad lamp projector that has the ability to display images, video, and digital signage applications in well lit areas.

The new projector, dubbed the PLC-HF15000L, is an LCD model that offers a native resolution of 2,048 x 1,080, a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, and a brightness of 15,000 lumens.

To produce 15,000 lumens of brightness, the projector uses four 380 watt bulbs that can be replaced while the projector is on. A hot operation lamp exchange feature prevents image black out during bulb replacement.

The PLC-HF15000L also offers an active maintenance feature that automatically cleans the projector's air filter when intake air volume is low. Recommended air filter replacement is at 12,000 hours.

Other features include image blending, color matching, horizontal and vertical keystone correction, an aspect ratio of 17:9, picture-in-picture, picture-by-picture, and a maximum image size of 600 inches.

Video input ports include HDMI, DVI-D, 15-pin mini D-sub, S-video, and 5-BNC. It also includes an RJ-45 LAN port, USB, 9-pin D-sub, and interface board slots.

The PLC-HF15000L is covered by a 90 day lamp/three year parts and labor warranty. The projector ships for $44,995. Further information can be found here.
