Testing Tool Supports Exam Delivery Through iPad
ExamSoft, a provider of exam management and analytics software, is unveiling a new line of assessment solutions at this week's Educause 2012 conference in Denver, CO.
ExamSoft E.I. is a cloud-based solution that enables instructors to build, administer, and receive reporting on exams. Test creators can import or generate test questions, assign tags according to categories, and create detailed exam reports. Students can take test from laptops, iPads, lab computers, or Scantron forms. The solution allows for offline delivery of tests, so users cannot access the Internet during the test period.
ExamSoft E.I.x, the light version of E.I., is designed to create essay and multiple choice exams. Instructors can build custom test templates with settings that include time limits, security levels, and approved test resources such as calculators or spell check.
ExamSoft E.I.s is for instructors who use Scantrons for testing. Similar to E.I., instructors can create question banks, assign categories to questions, and access reports showing student performance and feedback.
All three products are available to view at booth #571 from today through Friday.
