Bretford's new mobile device charging tray, with detect-supply-charge technology, is designed to "deliver a full-rate charge to multiple brands of tablets and e-readers that require up to 2.4 amps," according to the company. The all-steel charging unit, with locking lid and combination lock, can be secured to a work surface or movable carrier. The front of the unit features laser cut numbers, corresponding with USB ports, and LED status indicators. The charging station measures 17.75 inches (w) x 18.125 inches (d) x 11.25 inches (h) and, when fully loaded, weighs roughly 50 pounds.

The company plans to begin shipping its new charging station March 1. Additional information is available at Bretford's Web site.
