Bretford Unveils 30-unit Cart for Tablets

Furniture provider Bretford Manufacturing this week debuted a new mobile charging cart designed to store and charge up to 30 tablets.

The MDMTAB30 is the latest addition to Bretford's Store & Charge cart line. The new cart includes an advanced power management system that constantly assesses power needs and "allows device batteries to cool down between charging cycles, thereby extending the lifecycle," according to a company statement.

The cart comes with a cable management channel on its front as well as power strips for small power adapters on the rear. Each device slot includes a compartment for storing large power adapters. An auxiliary outlet on the cart provides power for peripheral devices.

The MDMTAB30 includes two shelves with numbers to identify devices with their respective electrical components. Doors on the front and rear of the UL60950-certified cart provide full access to all enclosed devices. The cart's locking handle "can be opened using either a reprogrammable combination or a key."

Bretford's new cart is available now. For more information, please visit the company's Web site.
