Cengage Learning Teams Up With Matchpoint to Offer Career Guidance Tool

Cengage Learning has partnered with Matchpoint Careers to become the exclusive agent to market and sell Matchpoint's Career Positioning System (CPS) to higher education institutions.

CPS is an online, personalized career guidance tool that points students toward careers based on their strengths, capabilities and personal interests. The tool helps students choose professional activities and courses of study while matching them to real jobs based on performance-predicting assessments.

"We are pleased to partner with Matchpoint Careers to provide career guidance tools for our end users," said Pam Snow, senior vice president of strategic customer partnerships for Cengage Learning, in a press release. "With 45 percent of America's unemployed in the ages of 18–34, there is a clear need for institutions to support graduating students as they prepare for their careers. Institutions can use CPS to track student's workplace-readiness development needs; discover the top target careers for students; and tailor other career programs based on reliable insights."
