Utah Universities Acquire Spend Management Software

Two universities in Utah have implemented plans to use cloud-based software to manage their procurement processes.

The University of Utah and Weber State University have both created partnerships with SciQuest, which supplies cloud-based business automation technology focused primarily on spend management.

Utah State University is already a client of SciQuest.

SciQuest specializes in procurement and spend management for higher education institutions, helping them to centralize and manage procurement, maintain compliance required by regulatory agencies and reduce the overall cost of education with better planning of long-term cost savings.

"We understand the unique challenges institutions in higher education face and provide a variety of products that remove roadblocks and turn spending into a strategic source of savings," said Doug Keister, senior vice president of sales at SciQuest. "SciQuest is the go-to solution for more than 200 colleges and 400 campuses nationwide."
