Smart Technologies is introducing Smart kapp 84, a new digital capture board with roughly triple the surface area of the first-generation Smart kapp 42.

Similar in size to a standard meeting-room whiteboard, the Smart kapp 84 uses dry-erase markers on a painted laminate steel surface, and can capture any written content and deliver the images to devices such as smartphones, tablets or PCs. Content can be shared in real time with remote participants via any Web browser, or shared with cloud services such as Evernote, Google Docs or OneDrive.

In addition, the company is adding Premium Services to its Smart kapp mobile app. Enhancements include the ability to extend the number of concurrent remote participants connected to a session to 250; additional security features; and the creation of password-protected reusable links.

The Smart kapp app can be downloaded in the Apple App and Google Play stores, with Premium Services available directly from the app, priced at $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year. Smart kapp 84 is available for pre-order at a promotional price of $999. For more information, visit the Smart kapp site.
