Academic Partnerships Taps AspirEDU To Improve Student Retention

Academic Partnerships (AP), a company that helps colleges and universities convert courses to digital formats, is teaming up with AspirEDU in an effort to improve student retention.

The new partnership "will supplement AP's current retention strategies and services through the use of AspirEDU's suite of cloud-based technologies that will enable AP's university partners to effectively identify at-risk students and further improve online completion rates," according to a news release.

AspirEDU's tools rely on proprietary algorithms to examine student performance as they progress through a course in an effort to identify students most at risk of dropping out or failing.

"At Academic Partnerships, we strive to ensure successful graduation for all students working to achieve their aspirations," said Randy Best, chairman and CEO of Academic Partnerships, in a prepared statement. "We believe our partnership with AspirEDU is yet another value proposition to our partner universities to ensure the success of the students they serve."
