Kettering U Launches New Online Certificate Programs

Kettering University is launching three new fully online graduate certificate programs.

The new 12-credit certificates will allow students to attend class and complete assignments at their convenience and will be available as stand-alone credentials or as part of a master's degree in engineering management, operations management or lean manufacturing.

The new certificate programs include:

  • Global Leadership, which aims to equip students with the tools they need to lead diverse teams from around the world;
  • Supply Chain Management, which is designed to teach "best practices in procurement, logistics, purchasing, inventory management, compliance and distribution," according to a news release; and
  • Operations Management, which is designed to help students improve efficiency and quality while reducing risk.

"A graduate certificate from Kettering University Online offers professionals the opportunity to quickly gain the skills needed to advance in their careers or change their career trajectory," said Christine Wallace, vice president for Kettering Global Campus, in a prepared statement. "For Kettering University Online students earning a master's degree, a graduate certificate allows for further specialization in their sphere of influence."
