Schoold Adds Personalized Scholarship Search Tool

Schoold has launched a new feature designed to help users find scholarships at their chosen schools.

"Schoold's goal is to present students with scholarships related to college and major," according to a news release. "The new functionality will continue to send personalized award opportunities that fit students' profiles. Schoold's new approach helps create re-engagement instead of requiring students to find new, relevant scholarships via individual, one-time searches."

The new tool is designed to use each user's profile and interests to present individualized and relevant scholarships. Other features include:

  • A personalized scholarship scroll based on each user's profile, major and interests. If a profile is incomplete, the tool general and personal usage data to fill in gaps;
  • Intelligent automated notifications;
  • Machine learning designed to adapt as more users create more profiles and find useful opportunities;
  • The ability to sort the scholarship list based on award amount or application deadline; and
  • Detailed application process information for each scholarship.
