DubLabs Adds Personalized Push Notifications

Colleges and universities now have a new tool for sending personal messages directly to individual students' mobile devices. Mobile app provider DubLabs today launched automated, personalized push notification capabilities on its flagship platform.

Thanks to native integration with an institution's enterprise systems (such as the student information system and LMS), DubLabs' mobile app platform now can automatically send alerts about new course assignments, announcements, discussions and grades, as well as updates on bills, payments, account holds and more, according to a company announcement. The notification tool aims to improve app engagement and communication with students, who are notorious for ignoring campus e-mail.

"Schools are looking for the best way to connect to today's mobile-first students," said Tony Orlando, CEO of DubLabs. "Personalized, integrated push notifications will allow schools to better communicate important content to students and allow those students to take immediate action right from their mobile device."
