U of Washington Updates Mobile App with Additional Resources

The University of Washington (UW) has unveiled an updated version of its mobile app. With UW’s Scout app launching in two weeks, students across all three campuses will soon be able to search and uncover more UW resources.

According to a report from the UW student newspaper, the app was designed by UW Information Technology’s Academic Experience Design and Delivery (AXDD) program. Scout replaces its predecessor SpaceScout, which only offered information on study spots. The latest version lists 400 study spots, 55 food locations and 138 technology items (available at the Seattle campus only).

Scout will be available for free on iOS and Android systems, pending approval from app stores. The app can be viewed on the Scout site.
