Recently, Campus Technology held our fall Distance Learning Summit — a virtual event focused on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on higher education and how the technology decisions made today might carry over into the future. In this bonus episode of the podcast, I wanted to share the conversation I had with university CIOs Jill Albin-Hill and Paige Francis, from the summit session titled "How the Pandemic Gave IT a Seat at the Table." They talked about the role of IT in pandemic response planning, and how they've been able to fast-track IT projects, provide critical solutions to campus challenges, elevate the position of IT within institutional leadership, and more.

I should note – since this came from a webcast recording, the audio is not the best quality – but it was a great discussion and I really think it's worth a listen.
