BenQ InstaShow

BenQ, maker of visual display and collaboration solutions, has introduced a new wireless presentation system designed for the education market. The InstaShow WDC20E allows users to share content from any device to a classroom's existing interactive display or projector at the touch of a button, with no network connection or special software required.

Features include:

  • Split-screen mode, allowing up to four users or sources to be shared to a screen simultaneously;
  • Ability to handle up to 32 participants or input sources at a time;
  • 4K video and 16-bit stereo audio capability;
  • Connectivity to any device with an HDMI out port;
  • Wireless connectivity for mobile devices via Apple Airplay, Miracast or the BenQ InstaShare app (available for Android and iOS); and
  • Touch Back, a feature that allows users to control and annotate presentations originating from Windows computers directly from an interactive display, as well as save annotations for later reference.

The WDC20E is priced at $699, which includes one 4K receiver and one HDMI transmitter button. For more information, visit the BenQ site.
