LG Launches High-Resolution, High-Brightness Laser Projectors for Education

LG Business Solutions USA has shipped two new projectors in its education line, both designed for medium to large spaces.

The LG ProBeam BU60PST and BF60PST projectors both offer a brightness of 6,000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 3 million-to-1. The BU60PST has a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 (4k/UHD), while the BF60PST offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 (WUXGA). Both also offer:

  • 20,000 hour laser life;

  • Support for screen sizes ranging from 40 inches to 300 inches (from 25 feet);

  • 50% vertical lens shift, 20% horizontal;

  • 1.6x optical zoom;

  • HDCP 2.2;

  • Integrated web browser;

  • webOS 4.5;

  • Miracast support;

  • Bluetooth and WiFi;

  • Dual 5W internal speakers;

Inputs include HDMI x2, RJ-45 (HDBase-T), USB-A x2 and a 3.5mm audio out jack.
