Miami Dade College Launches Digital Community for STEM Students

Miami Dade College's School of Science is using technology from InScribe Education to create a digital community where STEM students can connect with peers, find information and more. The project is funded through the school's federal Hispanic-Serving Institution STEM and Articulation grant.

Through InScribe's interactive digital space, students will be able to engage with STEM advisers, communicate with classmates, access campus services and view announcements and other information, all from anywhere, at any time. All information within the space is searchable, to make it easy for students to find what they need. The digital community is accessible directly from the School of Science website.

"We were drawn to InScribe for its innovative mindset, proven track record, and attentive customer service," commented Teresa Gonzalez, STEM community of interest manager at Miami Dade College, in a statement. "Its team has so many great ideas, not only to drive deeper student engagement but also to tailor and grow the community as our students' needs evolve."
