New Jotform Sign Form-Builder and E-Sign Software Offers Free Starter Plan and Deep Discount for Educational Institutions

Aiming to help educational institutions digitize their paper-based processes, online form-building provider Jotform has launched a lite version of its enterprise software called Jotform Sign with a no-cost starter plan and 50% discount offer for educational organizations that subscribe to paid plans, the company said in a news release.

Jotform Sign is a cloud-based e-signature and form-building software that works within a browser to allow organizations to build forms and share them for digital signatures, using the same technology as its more expensive enterprise solution.

Jotform's digital signature technology complies with the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act and the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (E-sign) Act, serving as legally binding signatures, the company said.

The new Jotform Sign interface has a drag-and-drop process so users can create, share, finalize, and approve e-signature documents signed on any device, or users can upload their existing forms to be turned into digital forms. Jotform said subscribers also have access to 600 form templates with built-in security features, compliance, and certifications across a variety of industries, including education.

Learn more about Jotform Sign features and subscriptions at the Jotform Sign website. The company will hold a webinar to demonstrate Jotform Sign's potential in education at 11 a.m. PT on Thursday, Oct. 20. Register to attend at Jotform.com/products/sign/webinar/.
