PTZOptics Announces New Livestreaming Video Camera Line

PTZOptics has introduced a new livestreaming video camera line, Move SE. The line, introduced at CES 2024, includes over 10 new features for PTZ cameras, the company said.

Some of the new features include:

  • Presenter tracking — selects and auto tracks a specific person, even within a group, within the internal web interface and includes new composition modes and zoom controls;
  • Auto-Framing — frames all subjects in a scene automatically without needing manual adjustments;
  • API options — controls camera functions such as auto-tracking, auto-framing, and subject selection; and
  • Privacy Mode — diverts the lens and enters standby mode, with quick reactivation.

The Move SE line combines HDMI, SDI, USB and IP output and NDI HX upgradeability in a single camera, the company said on its website. The cameras have 1080p resolution at 60fps, and utilize SONY CMOS image sensors. They come in 12x, 20x, and 30x optical zoom options, plus PoE. Prices start at $999.
