Crestron Ships Fiber Receiver


The DM-RMC-150-S supports resulutions up to 2,048 x 1,152 progressive or 1,920 x 1,080 interlaced.

Crestron has rolled out a fiber receiver that accepts high definition AV signals, sent from distances of up to 1,000 feet, and distributes them to projectors or monitors through the HDMI standard.

The new receiver, dubbed the DM-RMC-150-S, supports resolutions up to 2,048 x 1,152 progressive or 1,920 x 1,080 interlaced and HDMI audio formats that include Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital EX, DTS 96/24, and DTS-HD Master Audio up to 8 channel PCM.

In addition to its AV capabilities, the DM-RMC-150-S also receives control, data, and Ethernet signals through the same fiber cable. To accommodate the signals, the receiver offers RJ-45 connectivity and the ability to deliver commands through infrared and the RS-232 standard. 

Other features include the ability to function as a KVM extender, two relays, and LED indicators for HDMI out, LAN, power, and digital media in.

Ports include:

  • HDMI out;
  • RCA audio out;
  • RJ-45 LAN;
  • RS-232;
  • USB; and
  • Two infrared ports.
