Schmidt Says 'Your Mobile Phone Should Be Free'

Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt, denying that Google has any plans to give away phones, says that he thinks their use as mobile computing platforms makes them worthy of advertising and that will eventually mean that phones will be free.
